You can send anyone you wish an invitation to your profile informing them that you have left a final farewell message.

4. What is the difference between “Vaulted” and “Private”?
Vaulted material will be unlocked upon eFarewell’s confirmation of your death. Private material is only viewable to you and members that you have assigned access.

5. Who can view my “Vaulted” items upon my death?
If your Profile Status is marked as Public / Searchable, your Vaulted items will be viewable to registered eFarewell members upon confirmation of your death by eFarewell. If your Profile Status is marked as Private / Not Searchable, your Vaulted items will be viewable to members you have assigned the privilege of Friends and Family, or Private.

6. Can I change material in my eFarewell profile?
Absolutely. You can change any material in your profile at anytime.

7. How will an eFarewell video supplement my Last Will and Testament?
Choosing to use your eFarewell Video message to record a Video Will would supplement a properly prepared Last Will and Testament, provided your Video Will adheres to your state’s laws governing Video Wills. eFarewell encourages you to contact a local lawyer for more information about properly executing a Video Will under your state’s guidelines. In most states, a Video Will recording will verify the validity of your Last Will and Testament should a discontented relative decide to challenge it. An eFarewell Video Will is compelling proof that you were mentally competent and of sound mind at the time you composed your Last Will and Testament.

8. Who can view my Final Preparations?
Your Final Preparations are viewable only to you. If you want another person to have access to this section upon your death it is your responsibility to provide your executor, a trusted friend, or family member, with your personal account information, so they can access this information upon your death. You also have the option to print out your completed preparations worksheet and place the hard copy in a secure location, preferably with your Last Will and Testament.

9. Who can view my Personal Identifiable Information (PII)?
Your PII is viewable only to you. Only upon notification of your death will eFarewell access this information to authenticate your passing.
